This isn't a combine race to see who is the fastest. The race is against the weather. As storm clouds are looming, the harvesters are challenged with cutting as much barley as they can before the rain comes. On the edge of Cheney Washington in the Palouse, the sounds of combines harvesting can be heard everywhere. The sun tries to peak out from behind the dark and unwelcome storm clouds to give hope to all that are trying to bring in their crops.
My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. Other areas of my travels include Moab Utah, Central Oregon, the Oregon coast and many areas around my home State of Washington. Take your time and enjoy my images.
