Artist's Description
Steptoe Butte offers some amazing views of the Palouse in Washington State. Couple that with spring wildflowers and you might have to worry about sensory overload. The hill sides become covered with wildflowers starting in May. Then with the rolling hills of the Palouse farmland below, the landscape becomes what one would only sees in dreams.
About Mark Kiver
My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. Other areas of my travels include Moab Utah, Central Oregon, the Oregon coast and many areas around my home State of Washington. Take your time and enjoy my images.
