While photographing sunrise in Schwabacher landing , this bull moose wondered right in front of me. Since it was fall and being in the middle of rut, he was only worried about one thing so he paid no attention to me.
My photography focus is primarily nature and wildlife. I have a strong passion for the outdoors, capturing images that help preserve the numerous public lands and all that they offer. My travels take me all over the western united states to the common and not so common places. Many of my photos concentrate on the National Parks of Glacier, Yellowstone, Grand Tetons, and Arches National Parks. Other areas of my travels include Moab Utah, Central Oregon, the Oregon coast and many areas around my home State of Washington. Take your time and enjoy my images. Thanks James. At the time I was photographing the sunrise and this guy just came out of no where. While I was happy that I got some decent close up shots, I realized later I missed the opportunity to get a wider shot with the Tetons as a back drop. Just another reason to go back :)
