Description
The Palouse is a unique region located in south Eastern Washington. Filled with rolling hills and crops of wheat, barley, peas and other grains. This hills in combinations with the crops create very distinct patterns as far as the eye cans see. No mater the time of year and if they are planted or fallow, the patterns constantly change like a slow moving Kaleidoscope. When the light is low and golden, deep shadows are created making the patterns even more extraordinary. This image is taken from Steptoe Butte State Park just after Sunrise.
I offer a variety of landscape, nature and wildlife images and fine art digital paintings. I also have many agricultural, farming and countryside images as well. Most of my work is from around the Pacific Northwest, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, British Columbia, and Alberta. Please look through my galleries or visit my website to view my full portfolio.
