Love this with so many pieces to make a wonderful shot.. reflection, mountains, gulls on abandoned pilings all blessed with an elusive blue sky. Wow.Voted

Mark Kiver replied:

Thanks again Christine. This is one of those gems around Anacortes.

Artist's Description

Catching the last light of the day, pilings are the only thing left from a cannery the was once here. In the background is Mount Baker. This view is from the Guemes Channel Trail. A newly developed trail in Anacortes Washington. Anacortes is know for its many bike and pedestrian trails. This new trail starts from Ships Harbor, the Anacortes Ferry Terminal and follows the Guemes Channel shore line all the way into Anacortes. On a calm evening, Mount Baker will be reflected in the Channel.
