Description
Grizzly eating kinnikinnick berries to get ready for hibernation in Glacier National Park. This North American brown bear is in period called hyperphagia where it is eating large amounts of food to create fat reserves for the upcoming hibernation.
I offer a variety of landscape, nature and wildlife images and fine art digital paintings. I also have many agricultural, farming and countryside images as well. Most of my work is from around the Pacific Northwest, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, British Columbia, and Alberta. Please look through my galleries or visit my website to view my full portfolio.
All of my work is original and copyrighted. The watermarks will not be on your final print. Thank you for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thanks for looking. I am not as close as it looks. I am safely hanging out with several other photographers. While Grizzlies can be unpredictable and deceivingly fast, this guy is in his hyperphaiga (storing up calories for winter hibernation) mode. He was only concerned about one thing, that was eating as many berries as he could.
