Description
Govan, now a ghost town, was a small eastern Washington farm town that grew with the arrival of the Great Northern Railroad. When U.S. Route 2 bypassed the town in 1933, it slowly started to close down. One of the few original buildings is the once red but now weathered school house that was build in 1906. It is amazing how it has survived the prairie winds and winter snowfalls. Soon the steeple will topple and the roof will cave in. This iconic and historic building stands alone in a farm field as a reminder to a different time in our history.
I offer a variety of landscape, nature and wildlife images and fine art digital paintings. I also have many agricultural, farming and countryside images as well. Most of my work is from around the Pacific Northwest, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, British Columbia, and Alberta. Please look through my galleries or visit my website to view my full portfolio.
All of my work is original and copyrighted. The watermarks will not be on your final print. Thank you for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
