Description
Buckner Orchard is located at the western end of Lake Chelan just outside of the small town of Stehekin Washington. Stehekin can only be accessed by boat, which takes 3-4 hours, or by a 10 mile hike. Deep in the North Cascades National Park, this area offers great views of Lake Chelan, Mountain streams, and beautiful Forests. Fall is definitely the best time to visit. Crowds are low and the trees change colors. Buckner Orchard is full of local history offering so much for visitors. The Buckner Orchard is located on 50 acres irrigated by hand dug ditches. 15 structures remain from the Buckner Family complex, many of which can be explored and are full off historical objects that date back to 1910 and earlier.
I offer a variety of landscape, nature and wildlife images and fine art digital paintings. I also have many agricultural, farming and countryside images as well. Most of my work is from around the Pacific Northwest, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, British Columbia, and Alberta. Please look through my galleries or visit my website to view my full portfolio.
All of my work is original and copyrighted. The watermarks will not be on your final print. Thank you for looking and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
